Welcome to the famous Ukrainian spa Yalta!
Well known for the “Yalta Conference”, which was held in the Livadia Palace in February 1945,
when the heads of the governments of the allied forces President Roosevelt, Prime Minister
Winston Churchill and the General Secretary Joseph Stalin met here to discuss Europe’s
Today’s Yalta will cast a spell on you. Enjoy the subtropical climate at the seafront or while
visiting the botanical garden with its more than 50.000 plants from all over the world.
Other Sights of interest are the Alexander Newski Cathedral, the market hall, the
Massandra Castle – where Stalin spent his summers – and the Tschechow House.
Tolstoi and Tschaikowski also lived in Yalta.
Not far from the city you can visit Uchan-su, the highest waterfall in Ukraine and
a famous tourist attraction.
